What we do to make our uniforms sustainable and our processes environmentally friendly at every stage of production and supply
Uniform Express identifies environmentally friendly options for fabrics such as rPET polyesters (recycled polyesters), organic cottons, BCI Cottons.
We design our uniforms for end-of-life recycling, including minimal components and single composition fabrics.
We also identify sustainable trims such as eco buttons, natulon zips, plant-base zippers and buttons, recycled labels, and embroidery threads.
Our fabrics are procured based on environmental credentials. We select ISO40001 suppliers and EKO-TEX-certified mills.

We offer a fully accredited and transparent supply base, ISO 14001 registered / OEKO – TEX certified / WRAP certified / SEDEX certified.
We have a controlled supply base. We provide holistic community initiatives in areas of production.
Uniform Express uses biodegradable, water-soluble plastic bags. We make sure we use reusable or recyclable plastics. We strive for the reduction of all single-use plastics throughout the supply chain.
All raw materials used to make Uniform Express cardboard boxes are sourced from certified “green” suppliers.
We are choosing and only working with preferred greener transport companies. Uniform Express is continually monitoring the environmental impact of all deliveries.
Uniform Express is working towards NET ZERO emissions in our offices and warehouse. We are a living wage employer.
As far as possible Uniform Express makes our fabrics suitable for low-temperature washing. We offer accurate-sized garments, fit sets and measure guides to reduce the need for returns and exchanges.
We supply care guides and wash standards on all our clothing. Our fabrics are selected for optimum performance and maximum life span.
Uniform Express offers reuse options for all our non-branded products via a selection of charities. For branded items, we offer certificated reuse options for 3rd world charity donations.
For all garments, we can offer certificated recycling options.
