Center Parcs have more than 30 years’ experience in the UK short break market. They offer families the chance to escape daily stresses in beautiful woodland settings, with a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, award-winning spa facilities, restaurants, retail outlets and, at the heart of each village, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. In 2021 they launched a uniform tender to redesign, elevate and reposition the uniform for each of the 8 diverse division across the 5 parcs and its 9,800 employees.
We first carried out initial parc visits to understand the complexities and clothing challenges across each of the 100 different job roles. We created a collection of designs that encompassed the passion both businesses shared for creating a beautiful, inclusive on brand yet functional collection manufactured from sustainable materials whilst also increasing the end-of-life recycling opportunities.
Prior to roll-out Uniform Express manufactured a small quantity of showcase samples for director approval, then a 2 parc large scale wearer trial, which through multiple visits along with the Center Parcs team gave us the extensive feedback and data we required to go on to bulk production of all 180 product ranges.
2023 saw Uniform Express complete a successful roll out across all 5 Parcs and 9,800 employees over a 6 month period and the feedback from both wearers and guests across all 8 division has been extremely positive.
