In early 2017, following a competitive tender process prior to the rebranding of Vision Express and its stores, Uniform Express was selected as the official uniform supplier. This decision was based on several key factors:
Upon being appointed as the preferred uniform supplier for Vision Express, in light of a new collaboration with Tesco, we faced the challenge of designing and implementing a new uniform program for 1,500 wearers within a tight timeframe of five weeks. We successfully met this deadline and subsequently undertook a complete redesign in alignment with the new branding, managing the stock transition from the previous supplier at our own expense.
Initially, we needed to fulfil the order for the Tesco locations using a selection of our stocked products while simultaneously purchasing the existing uniform stock from the previous supplier to meet the demands of high street stores. During this process, our implementation team worked diligently, while our design team collaborated closely with the Vision Express marketing and branding teams to develop a fresh, casual yet professional look that reflected the brand’s new values and aspirations. As the environment and brand identity evolved to become more welcoming and inviting, careful consideration was given to colours and fabric textures to achieve the desired ambiance. Our design team extensively utilized jersey fabrics to create appealing retail looks, attending European trade fairs alongside our technical team to source suitable retail fabrics.
